Garmin
I had the opportunity to cover Garmin's exclusive MARQ Gen 3 collection launch in Barcelona, capturing both photography and video throughout the morning.
The event started with breakfast, followed by a product presentation and an interactive Sudoku challenge. The Sudoku game was designed to reveal a set of coordinates that participants would later enter into their Garmin watches, guiding them to two of Barcelona's most iconic landmarks: Casa Batlló and La Pedrera.
After exploring both locations, the experience continued with mocktails and lunch.
Beyond photographing the entire experience, I was also responsible for filming and editing an event recap video, with the challenge of delivering the final piece on the same day, in just one hour.
There was also an unexpected last-minute challenge. I had initially been briefed that the video content was intended for social media, so I filmed everything vertically. However, at the end of the event, I was informed that the final video needed to be in horizontal format, as it was actually intended for LinkedIn.
This meant having to adapt footage originally shot in vertical format into a horizontal video, while still meeting the extremely tight one-hour editing deadline.
A demanding morning combining event photography, videography, fast-paced editing, and last-minute changes!
Work done on 2026.
