Sara's Baptism

Some projects are special because of the location, the light, or the story they tell. Others are special because they become part of your own story.

Photographing my niece Sara's baptism was one of those moments. I wasn't just there as the photographer—I was there as family, wanting to preserve memories that will only become more meaningful with time.

My approach was simple: stay in the background and let the day unfold naturally. The warm embraces, quiet smiles, proud grandparents, and the little in-between moments are often the ones that tell the story best.

Beyond documenting the ceremony itself, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of the day and the love that surrounded Sara as her family came together to celebrate this important milestone.

For me, that's what this kind of photography is all about: creating honest, timeless images that allow people to relive not only what happened, but also how it felt.

Work done on 2026.
